Hi, I’m Gabby! I started live, laugh, yum! in 2012 right after I graduated from Rowan University with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Yes – I majored in Math! Since I started my blog after I graduated and my interest in nutrition mostly started after I got my degree, I went back to school and received my Master of Science in Nutrition with a concentration in Obesity and Nutritional Health.

I hope to pass along my messages through my posts on my blog. I want everyone to know that eating healthy doesn’t necessarily have to be super time consuming or hard for that matter. It can be fun and delicious! Live a healthier life, don’t diet, and indulge once in a while.

Thanks

You are brave and brilliant for being able to tell your back story. I guess many of us have a path behind us, but don’t ever share with the world – that takes a strong girl. Well done x
Thank you!!! <3
Gabbster, I love your blog and check it for recipes. I think the way you write about your story is inspirational and heart warming. I’m honored to have swam and did spin class with you. Keep up the good work old friend. Spread your story!
Thank you Steph!!!! miss you <3
Thank you for sharing all this. I am beginning a journey to get healthier myself. Since i have a teenage daughter I know the pressure on young women today. You are truly an inspiration. I feel like your journey has just begun many good things to come
Awesome!! Keep it up. Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙂
Gabrielle,
That was inspirational for all young women to read. I had an eating disorder for years. I find your honesty a gift to others.
Keep being strong & healthy!
Thank you so much!
Hi Gabrielle,
Okay, so I’m kind of in your place of managing and having an eating disorder during school. I eat lot at once (dinner) an have trouble throughout the day. How did you start incorporating meals and do you have any recommendations for meals? I think you said you eat oatmeal for breakfast? I love Quest bars too, I recently stopped eating them because I thought I was using them too much as a food and wanted to try to eat real ‘foods’ more but will probably buy them again as my grad program starts soon and it’s difficult when you’re not at home all day.
Thanks for your blog <3
Jackie

Hi Gabby! You may remember meeting me at pure barre awhile ago! I follow you on Instagram, and you probably know me as glowholistically. I wanted to know if you would be interested in meeting for coffee/tea sometime to talk about health! I’m interested in furthering my education & was thinking about a masters in nutrition and I would love to get your insight on it. Feel free to email me at glowholistically@gmail.com thanks!!
Hi Gabby,

Fellow burn boot camper here! (I work at mount laurel). I stumbled upon your IG and immediately recognized the “recovery language” in your posts. I love your content and it led me to your blog where I had a feeling I’d discover you were also in recovery from an eating disorder.. it’s long road but so worth it. Keep spreading your message of self love and acceptance; it’s beautiful. Best of luck on your journey💙
