spiced apple & cinnamon waffles.

A breakfast perfect for fall!

Recipe:
• 1 & ½ cup Kodiak Cakes mix
• ½ cup coconut sugar
• 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon nutmeg
• ¼ teaspoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1 apple, diced (I used golden delicious)
• ½ cup almond milk
• 1 Tablespoon coconut oil, melted

Instructions:
• In a large bowl, combine Kodiak Cakes mix, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
• In a separate bowl, combine almond milk, egg, vanilla extract and coconut oil.
• Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in about 2-3 increments, mixing after each addition.
• Gently fold in diced apples.
• Heat waffle iron and cook waffles until golden brown.
• Serve with extra sliced apples, powdered sugar, and cinnamon!
