baked white peach crumble.

Posted by

There’s really something about white peaches that I like better than regular peaches. I have no idea what that something is… but I’ve always admired them more! So here I made a baked white peach crumble. I cut the peaches into halves, topped them with a brown sugar and cinnamon crumble, and baked them until they were warm and golden brown. I don’t think you can get any better than that! Except when you top it with Siggi’s vanilla yogurt and honey! πŸ™‚

RECIPE: (makes 6 peach halves)

  • 3 white peaches, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup Kodiak Cakes power cakes mix
  • 1/3 cup instant oats
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened slightly
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • place peaches in a small baking dish (I used a 6×4 – all the peaches snuggled perfectly together)
  • in a separate bowl, add the Kodiak Cakes mix, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and butter
  • use a fork or a pastry cutter and incorporate the butter into the dry ingredients until it forms a crumble (the size of peas)
  • top the peaches with the crumble
  • bake for 20 minutes, or until the top of the crumble is golden brown
  • remove from oven and serve with vanilla yogurt or ice cream! Β and top with honey if you desire πŸ™‚
