raw caramel sauce.

tastes exactly like caramel.. ate with with apples… amen.

about 15 dates (pitted and soaked in water for about 30-60 minutes to get soft)
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon caramel extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

blend everything in a blender (i used my vitamix aka AMAZING!) until everything is smooth! if you need more liquid, add a little water. the maple syrup helped me out with that.
transfer into a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or so.
