wedding party champagne cupcakes.

i made this cupcakes for an engagement party! photo is by my best friend stephanie barone. she’s the best 🙂 so i made one for the bride which is the white rose and one for the groom which has the tux on it. those two have little pink hearts ❤ ! then i made 10 bridesmaids cupcakes all the same which had purple frosting and white pearls and 10 for the groomsmen which were just white frosting with bow ties. my FAVORITES are the flower girl's cupcake which had white frosting with a purple flower and the ring bearer; i just drew a ring and put gold stars for the diamond! they turned out AMAZING! and here is the recipe for my champagne cupcakes 🙂

RECIPE:
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 eggs
2 egg whites
1/2 cup champagne
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch salt
1/2 cup almond milk

whip the butter and sugar together until fluffy
add whole eggs one at a time completely incorporating after each one
add vanilla extract
add champagne and blend
NOTE: after adding the champagne it will look like it's curdling. don't worry, it will be normal again after adding the dry ingredients 🙂

in a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt

add dry ingredients to wet in 3 increments, alternating with almond milk

beat egg whites in another bowl until you get stiff peaks
fold into the batter
NOTE: be careful not to over mix

bake on 350 for about 10-12 minutes or until knife comes out clean!
i topped these cupcakes with regular buttercream in which you can find the recipe for in previous posts!
