my cousin and her fiancé are hardcore dieting before their wedding and I know they’re working out 3 days in a row this week and working hard! so I decided to make them energy balls to eat pre-workout! 🙂
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup cocoa almonds (or regular)
2 tablespoons pb2
1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
I grinded the dates and raisins first in a food processor then added my almonds, pb2 and water. it kind of turned into a big ball! but you want it that way so you can make your own little balls yourself.
in a double broiler, melt 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
dip each ball in to coat and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until chocolate is solid again.
