day 6 - oatmeal 10 ways.

chocolate chip cookie dough brownie oatmeal.

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup light chocolate soy milk/almond milk
1/4 cup egg whites
1/4 cup water
1/4 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 light n fit vanilla greek yogurt (you could also use plain nonfat greek yogurt, about 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon fat free cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon truvia
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

for the oatmeal:
combine oats, light chocolate soy milk, egg whites and water in a small bowl and microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds
add chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and truvia
microwave for 1-2 minutes until oatmeal looks fully cooked and not watery

for the cookie dough filling:
combine greek yogurt, cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla extract and mini chocolate chips together in a bowl until blended well and smooth

layer your oatmeal and cookie dough filling in a mason jar/glass/ bowl and top with more mini chocolate chips! this is the best thing ever, like dessert for breakfast!!! my favorite two things in the entire world.

a little background on how I thought of this: I figured the main components you taste when eating cookie dough is brown sugar, vanilla extract and chocolate chips! I made sure that these were the main components in my cookie dough “filling” so it tastes as much like cookie dough as possible without it being super bad for you ๐Ÿ™‚ enjoy!!!
